Fiona McRaith serves as Director of The Climate Pledge at Global Optimism. The Climate Pledge, co-founded by Amazon and Global Optimism, unites more than 500 leading companies committed to reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2040 - a decade ahead of the Paris Agreement. With the Pledge team, Fiona works to accelerate joint action, cross-sector collaboration, and responsible change.
Before joining Global Optimism, Fiona helped shape climate philanthropy at the Bezos Earth Fund, where she worked closely with leadership to develop and implement strategy during the organization's foundational period. Her career includes roles at institutions including the World Resources Institute (WRI), the White House, the Alliance for the Great Lakes, and Action for the Climate Emergency (ACE).
Fiona serves on the Board of Directors for The Climate Initiative and Counterpart International. She holds a B.A. in International Development and Environment from McGill University.
