Kalee Kreider
Advisor, The Climate Pledge
Kalee has advised some of the world’s most innovative thinkers and innovators including Paul G. Allen and former Undersecretary of State Timothy Wirth.
In addition to her work as a consultant, Kalee has served as Chief Media and Public Affairs Officer for the National Geographic Society overseeing brand, marketing, communications, impact media, public events and the Museum. She worked for years as environmental adviser and communications director for Vice President Al Gore. She helped in the research and marketing of three, New York Times best-selling books, an Oscar Award winning film, and a top-selling app for the iPhone. She assisted with the slideshow that served as the basis for An Inconvenient Truth and worked with Apple, Current TV, Generation Investment Management and Kleiner Perkins.
She has a varied career in public affairs which includes managing the Washington Office of Fenton Communications and running programs for several non-governmental organizations. Kalee began her career in Washington, D.C., as a Truman Scholar in 1992.
